The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Higher Education and Science Committee

An international workshop on “Ultrafast Beams and Applications“, organized by the State Committee of Science MES RA, CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute and DESY Accelerator Center was held on July 4-7, 2017 at CANDLE SRI.

On May 26, the State Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia hosted the representatives of the Bulgarian National Science Foundation (BNSF).

The acting Minister of Education and Science of RA Levon Mkrtchyan received the delegation headed by Minster of Science, Research and Culture of Brandenburg, Germany, who visited Armenia to take part in the international conference dedicated to the development of astrophysics.

The delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Emil Tarasyan visited to the Islamic Republic of Iran from February 11-13 by the invitation of the Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC).

On January 17, the Chairman of the State Committee of Science Samvel Haroutiunian held a press conference at the RA Government press center, taking stock of the activities of the State Committee of Science during the year 2016.

On December 9, 2016, the United Nations Office in Armenia hosted a conference on the issues of development of science and innovation in Armenia, organized by the MES RA State Committee of Science, the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
